Graduate School of Integrated Human and Social Welfare Studies (Chiba Campus)

The objectives of the Graduate School of Integrated Human and Social Welfare Studies are to elucidate social welfare, which is the origin of our foundation, from a modern perspective and various directions, and to achieve the realization of a comprehensive welfare as a trinity with religion and education. Toward these objectives, we aim to cultivate human resources who can work on the future realization, education and research relating to comprehensive welfare with high ideals, a wide perspective and profound insight, and to contribute to an advanced realization of comprehensive welfare in basic relations between people, as well as people and society.

Curriculum

  1. To aim for the acquisition of detailed and advanced knowledge specialized in the research field of each student, as well as to develop the perspective of integrating various studies, based on undergraduate education.
  2. To repeatedly use case studies and practical methods so that students can utilize the acquired perspectives and knowledge in the field and take appropriate action against new problems.
  3. To acquire perspective relating to peripheral areas in order to support and reinforce the reliable perspectives and knowledge acquired.
  4. Students in the doctoral course are required to further deepen the expertise they obtained from the graduate course and to acquire the skills to perform research on their own problems.
