The School of Social Welfare develops human resources who can think together about the most appropriate “welfare” for the lifestyle of each person living in the local community and the issues in their daily lives, and actively work toward its realization. In order to support students aiming for national qualifications, an examination preparation office has been established to provide support for examination preparation according to the learning stage at each grade from the first to the fourth. We are proud of our students’ high pass rate every year.

Research and Clinical Center for Child Development
A facility unique to Shukutoku University Chiba Campus not found at other universities
The Research and Clinical Center for Child Development is a rehabilitation and consultation institution that provides therapeutic education to children with developmental concerns such as about speech and physical function. Professional teaching staff gathers to provide therapeutic education to children, and also accept students from the College of Integrated Human and Social Welfare Studies for practical training. Students will work on actual child development support in a team as part of the staff to acquire more specialized support methods.
Asian Research Institute for International Social Work
The Asian Research Institute for International Social Work was established in April 2016 with the aim of contributing to the improvement of research in international social welfare and social work in Asia and the world, and returning the research results to society. This institute is intended to be a contact point for sending and receiving many things, with the eyes always open to Asia and the world.
