Founding Principle
The founding principle of Shukutoku University, “利他共生 ,” means to “be made alive by others, make others alive, and live together,” which is a philosophy based on the spirit of Mahayana Buddhism.
Shukutoku Univ. celebrated in anniversary in 2015, and the “Vision of Shukutoku Univ.” was formulated. Our university staff and students have been working together to realize this vision.
Shukutoku University consists of 6 colleges and 11 schools. All departments and courses of study at Shukutoku University develop human resources based on a concept of symbiotic learning.
